A new Bystronic software solution for the sheet metal processing industry; an all-new 30kW laser cutting system and a faster, more flexible press brake that takes productivity to the next level, will be exhibited during FABTECH 2023.

The new ByCut Star represents high-precision Bystronic technology, a reliable cutting process even at the highest laser outputs, an expanded range of production capabilities, and high throughput at a low cost per part, the company says. Ongoing demonstrations feature the NEW ByCut Star with 30 kW fiber power and ByTrans Extended material handling automation.
With NEW 15 kW fiber power, ByCut Smart with new design, optional “Parameter Wizard” and “BeamShaper”, offers excellent cutting performance and efficiency across a range of materials and thicknesses. Automation-ready, the compact ByCut Smart will be demonstrated with the ByTrans Modular with BySort material handling automation.
Bystronic press brakes will also be presented.
ByBend Smart 160 is the new, faster, more flexible successor of the Xact Smart, the company explains. New efficiency booster takes productivity speeds to the next level, and the new sheet lifters allow for much more ergonomic working at the machine, according to Bystronic.
With the Xpert Pro 150, Bystronic presents a high-end press brake that sheet metal processing companies can adapt to their requirements on a modular basis. The three available models will appeal to a wide variety of users.
