The Filtair Capture 5 weld fume extraction system features the company’s ZoneFlow technology, which creates a fume capture area more than three times larger than conventional systems, up to 1 m wide by 1.5 m deep (3 ft wide by 5 ft deep), according to the company.
By increasing the fume capture area, the system improves safety and productivity by decreasing downtime for welders to adjust the fume extraction arm, especially when welding long, continuous welds.
