Voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Centre Ltd. has achieved certification according to ISO9001:2015 for the design, simulation and production of additive manufactured components for the power generation, oil & gas and other advanced industries.
“With this certification customers are assured that their work is being handled in a thoughtful and repeatable manner consistent with desired outcomes,” says Sami Arsan, VP Additive and Advanced Manufacturing, North America. “It also provides a sound basis for driving efficient and effective business processes.”
The Mississauga, ON location is part of a growing regional and global network of Voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Centres (vAMCs) that offer customers ‘concept to component’ services. One advantage of the Voestalpine centres is that they offer customer a single partner that offers a complete AM value-chain from powder development, engineering, simulation and modelling, and new additive manufacturing production technologies through to post-processing services such as machining, thermal processing and coatings. The integration of disciplines mitigates risk while helping to optimize cost and performance.
