The Manitoba Chambers of Commerce 2023 Climate Action Forum Series, which kicked off today in Brandon, has several more events planned through spring.
The Forum Series is designed to help build awareness & capacity and share experiences among Manitoba’s small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) for enhancing resilience to climate change and achieving carbon reductions through their operations and facilities, products and services offered.
In collaboration with Novel Futures, the Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA), and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), several virtual and in-person opportunities are being offered to engage with SMEs, organizations, and local governments, where participants will learn new approaches and share what they are doing to assess climate risk & build resilience, reduce carbon emissions via the circular economy, and use nature-based solutions.
