Koike Aronson has introduced a new abrasive watjet cutting machine, the K-Jet that delivers speeds up to 12,700 mm/min (500 ipm) with standard cutting areas up to 1,829 x 3,658 mm (72 x 144 in.). Koike Aronson will be showcasing the technology at FABTECH 2016 in Las Vegas, NV at booth N4234.

With a table capacity of up to 57 kg/sq m (125 lb/sq ft) for 76.2 mm (3 in. mild steel), the machine is designed with a Hypertherm Hy-Precision 60,000 psi intensifier pump, Flash-Cut CNC with buitl-in CAD/CAM and Ebbco filtration systems.

The company says the K-Jet is designed for reliable, precise cutting with fully enclosed, air pressurized bellows; hidden linear ways; accessible grease fittings; and a heavy-duty, 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) walled floor-mounted table that reduces deflection. The slats and slat supports are easily removed, and the heavy-duty 7.9 mm (5/16 in.) machined main beam and heavy-duty saddles enhance smooth movement throughout the table.

Options for the K-Jet include adjustable water height, clamping, air-over-oil hydraulic cooling, laser plate alignment, and laser height control.
