Dinah Chappus has been named the project administrator for the Career-Ready with CTMA: Expanding Opportunities program.

Chappus joins CTMA after many years of experience in the industry. A graduate of St. Clair College majoring in accounting and business management, she was hired immediately upon graduating at a facility in Oldcastle as its office manager. In 2005, Chappus joined the Circle 5 Tool and Mold LP team, where she wore many hats as office manager. One of her roles included managing co-op and OYAP students, as well as apprentices.

“Working with new people entering the industry was a real passion of mine,” said Chappus. “It was great to be able to watch young people enter the trades and succeed in their roles.”

Chappus is no stranger to the CTMA. She has been working with executive director, Robert Cattle, since 2014 to help monitor students who have entered the trades.

“I retired (which was the hardest thing for me to do) from Circle 5 Tool & Mold LP in 2021,” said Chappus. “I was extremely lucky to have Robert Cattle approach me to come out of retirement and help with the Career-Ready program. I am looking forward to working with all members of the CTMA and hope to meet everyone at upcoming events.

Chappus can be reached at [email protected]
