Thomas Mittmann, owner of Mittmann Inc., a provider of premium tool holders for CNC turning and machining centres, recently visited the WTO headquarters in Ohlsbach, Germany. WTO designs and manufactures precision toolholders for turning centers and Swiss-type lathes.

Mittman Inc. offers the WTO brand in Canada and was welcomed at WTO’s headquarters by Sascha Tschiggfrei, director, WTO and Patrick Diener, vice president North America, WTO.

“We are looking forward to a successful new year 2024,” Mittmann said, pointing out WTO’s commitment to the North American market as evidenced by the company breaking ground last June on a new 21,600-square-foot headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The facility, scheduled to open in May of 2024, will include offices, warehouse, repair service and a modern showroom to serve its customers in North America.

WTO USA has been serving the American market since 1995. The company says demand for its products and services in North America has increased steadily and it has rapidly outgrown its rented facilities.
