BIG Kaiser’s most recent Breakfast and Learn sessions attracted more than 250 manufacturers. Held at the company’s Chicago area facility in Hoffman Estates, IL, the sessions, which ran May 17, 18 and 19, were an opportunity to learn and network.
The sessions have become popular events with manufacturers. The company has held the sessions for several years now.
The 2016 session topics included two presentations on May 17 “precision finish boring tips and tricks” presented by Matt Tegelman, applications manager and product manager and “tools and techniques for deep hole drilling” presented by Cory Cetkovic, applications engineer and product manager for Sphinx. On May 18 the two breakfast sessions wre “tool holder service and maintenance” presented by Alan Miller, engineering manager and produt maanger, BIG Daishowa, and “tool holder balance” by Jack Burley, VP sales and engineering. On May 19, Doug Summer, product maanger for tool measuring systems gave a presentation on “tool presetting for the intelligent shop floor” and John Zaya, applications engineer and product manager for workholding, spoke about zero point clamping.
