Reshoring Canada has launched its first country-wide survey to identify supply chain challenges faced by industry partners in several sectors of the Canadian economy.

Industry associations are helping out by surveying their members, which will lead to more targeted and concrete data and solutions.

“Reshoring Canada’s goal of finding solutions to drive supply chain modernization and resiliency begins with high-quality data to better understand the challenges faced by Canadian companies. By taking a more granular look at the issues, we will see how sectors and industries are affected,” said Sandra Pupatello, Co-Chair of Reshoring Canada.

Tony Clement, Co-Chair, added: “We are impressed with the level of support and encouragement we’ve received since launching Reshoring Canada. The time for reshoring, onshoring, and modernizing our supply chains is now, and we will be convening the country’s best experts around these challenges to find solutions.”

The industry associations partnering with Reshoring Canada initially include:

The Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA), the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), The Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA), the Canadian Association of Moldmakers (CAMM), Automate Canada, the Ontario Mining Association (OMA), the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) and the Grain Growers of Canada.

Reshoring Canada has also partnered with Canadian market research firm Mainstreet Research, which is conducting the survey.
