Magna’s composite space frame liftgate reinforcement solution, is the real deal for lightweighting.
It debuted on the Toyota Supra as the first composite application of its kind for an automotive liftgate and is 10 per cent lighter than steel versions of the part.
It won a 2020 Automotive News PACE Award – the premier award for auto supplier innovation.
