Exploring opportunities in the EV supply chain

Industry stakeholders looking to explore opportunities in Ontario’s EV supply chain can attend one of four free in-person workshops at the end of February put on by Invest WindsorEssex.

The workshops will examine the best practices for manufacturing various components in an electric vehicle’s drivetrain.

Each workshop includes:

• Battery production from cell through packs

• Electric motors, with a focus on new hairpin technologies

• Fuel cells and some of the challenges the industry faces

• An overview of additional technologies and opportunities

• Workshop and discussion on opportunities related to a group of stakeholders in the industry, depending on the day and focus topic

There are 4 dates to choose from:

Feb. 26 – General audience

Feb. 27 – Automation and integration companies

Feb. 28 – Mould/die manufacturing and CNC machining companies

Feb. 29 – Stamping, plastics and 3-D printing companies

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
