Auto parts supplier AISIN expanding Stratford plant

Anticipation of increased business is leading automotive supplier AISIN Corp. to expand its manufacturing plant in Stratford, Ont.

The announcement was made by AISIN Canada president Wayne Robert, who says the planned expansion includes 135,000 sq. ft. of new manufacturing and office space.

Established in 2007, ACI manufactures sunroofs, doorframes, power back doors, moldings, and seating components. The company is a supplier to the Toyota manufacturing plants in Woodstock and Cambridge.

“Business is good, but we’ve outgrown our current home,” Robert told Stratford Today. “Fortunately, our plant is in an area that permits and promotes growth, enabling ACI to stay in its current location on Wright Boulevard. The City of Stratford and its people are important to us. We’re here to stay.”
