Effective January 17, Nick Tomac will assume the role of application specialist at Sandvik Coromant, responsible for supporting the company’s machine tool manufacturers and dealers in Ontario.

Tomac has been with Sandvik Coromant for almost six years, first as a technical sales representative and latterly as account manager – aerospace for Ontario. With this move, the company is now looking for someone to take that role.

Prior to joining the company, Tomac was a manufacturing instructor at Conestoga College, a sales engineer and machining consultant for Tungaloy and a tool and die maker for Lear Corp. and Magna International.

He succeeds John Benedetti, who has announced his retirement after 25 years with the company.
