Mazak Corp. announced that effective December 1, 2012, the company will assume all sales transaction responsibilities in Ontario, Canada. The decision will allow Mazak to work more closely with Ontario customers and provide them service and support geared specifically toward the unique manufacturing environment of their region.
Mazak maintains a network of eight regional Technology Centers across North America, including its Mazak Corp. Canada Headquarters and Technology Centre in Cambridge, ON.
“Canada is a strong and vibrant market, and one that continues to expand due to its solid banking system, tremendous resources and steady manufacturing industry,” says Brian Papke, president of Mazak Corp. “We established our Cambridge Technology Centre to meet the specific needs of Canadian manufacturing, and we believe the sales decision is a logical and effective step in working even more closely with customers in Ontario as they help keep Canada growing.”
According to Ray Buxton, general manager of Mazak Corp. Canada, the sales decision allows Mazak and its customers to interact at much higher levels, especially within Ontario’s extremely competitive and complex automotive and aerospace industry sectors. “These industries often involve highly complex projects requiring very sophisticated machines and systems. In working even more closely with Mazak on such projects, our customers gain every possible advantage from the company’s advanced and innovative technologies and its manufacturing support network.”
For Canada’s other Provinces, Mazak, together with its strong distributor network of Machine Toolworks Inc. and A.W. Miller Canada, will continue to provide service and support to help manufactures keep pace with demand and boost their competiveness as Canada’s entire manufacturing sector accelerates.
