Bombardier has celebrated the opening of its transformed Singapore Service Centre, an OEM business aviation maintenance facility in Asia Pacific.

The expanded facility includes enhanced service capabilities for its growing fleet of Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft operators. The facility will also accommodate Bombardier’s Global 8000 business jet when that aircraft comes into service in 2025.

The Bombardier facility is part of the Seletar Aerospace Park in the Singapore Service Centre. The facility’s footprint has expanded to 290,000 sq ft (27,000 m2) from the original  70,000 sq. ft. (6,500 m2). With the expansion Bombardier added repair facilities and a parts depot that will serve the region, adding more than US $15 million in additional parts inventory.

It’s expected that the expanded service centre will support more 2,000 business jets per year.
