MMTS 2024 announces session on the future of additive manufacturing

MMTS 2024, set for Montreal June 18-20, has just unveiled its second speaker panel.

MMTS attendees can dive into how additive manufacturing can revolutionize manufacturing by attending  The Future of Additive Manufacturing in Canada session. The session will include speakers John Cigana of Ngen along with Frederic Morion of AP&C, Yahya Abderrafai, PhD, and Luc Pouliot of Polycontrols.

Attendees can expect to come away with insights on trends, applications and additive manufacturing’s future in Canada.

The initial expert panel announced by MMTS will focus on the topic of AI.

The session, entitled Empowering Manufacturing with AI: A Deep Dive into Cost Efficiency, will be led by John Cigana of NGEn. It will feature three industry experts: Remi Duquette, Maya HTT; Valérie Judd-Rohal, Deloitte; and Eric Janosz, WTA Partners.

The panel discussion will focus on cost-saving technologies and operational efficiencies and the operational benefits to gained from implementing AI.

Attendees can expect to come away with actionable insights for leveraging AI, achieving operational improvements, and financial gains.

MMTS 2024, produced by SME,  takes place at Palais des Congres de Montreal, June 18-20. More than 25 information sessions such as the one noted above are planned for the three-day event. In addition, there will be more than 250 suppliers and OEMs displaying more than 750,000 lbs of live equipment, including more than 100 new offerings, in 175,000 sq ft of show space.
