IMTS is North America’s premier manufacturing event
For 90 years, the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) has been the platform for introducing innovative technologies. And for just as long, manufacturers from around the globe have attended the event.
IMTS 2018 runs September 10 to 15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.
Sponsored by The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), the biennial event attracts tens of thousands of industrial decision makers that come to see the 2,000-plus exhibitors at the trade show and attend the comprehensive educational conferences, workshops and special presentations. In 2016, IMTS hosted 2,407 exhibitors and 115,000-plus registrants representing 117 countries.
In recent years, IMTS has become the premier event for manufacturing, in part because it is now co-located with four industry-related shows: Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives (IAMD) USA; Surface Technology USA; ComVac USA; and Industrial Supply USA.
In addition to the trade show and conference, attendees can visit some of the attractions, including the AMT Emerging Technology Centre. ETC made its debut in 2004 as a place to educate and inform manufacturers about ground-breaking industry innovations. ETC will feature two attractions: the Digital Transformation centre in the north building and the Additive Manufacturing centre in the west building.
