Sometimes you need an on-ramp, sometimes you need an off-ramp and sometimes you need Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s RAMP lab.
The school’s Research in Additive Manufacturing and Prototyping (RAMP) lab has the equipment and expertise to help companies test, prototype and manufacture their products.
Tim Muench, Head of Sask Polytechnic’s Design and Manufacturing Engineering Technology program, explains the facility and how startups and entrepreneurs can use it.
And using it is definately the plan, as the school has joined the Next Generation Manufacturing Supercluster to work on Internet of Things, machine learning, cybersecurity and additive manufacturing projects and to support related training.
