H5 SA semi automatic bandsawClick image to enlarge

The model H5 SA semi automatic double column bandsaw from Kalamazoo Industries has been designed to produce accurate vertical cuts in structural steel.

It features a heavy steel welded and normalized saw frame for vibration free sawing in a variety of structural, solid and difficult materials, and long blade life at high production rates.
The H5 SA can produce accurate vertical cuts that meet the standards for up to W18 structural steel I-beams and girders. Accuracy is important, as a straight cut can be easier and faster to weld than a “wavy” cut.
The machine miters 0-60 degrees both left and right, and the six degree canted head is counterbalanced for easy mitering in both directions. The scale is large and easily read for accuracy at any angle. The blade guides are heavy carbide blocks with large diameter rollers to ease the saw blade through the guide assemblies. All slideways are done on linear guides with recirculating ball bearings to provide frictionless vibration free travel. The linear guideways are supplied with lube fittings for easy maintenance.
