Amada has released the AMS 3015 CL modular system cycle loader.

The AMS CL is a modular system that allows fabricators to easily expand their automation capabilities. With additional modules, the AMS CL can seamlessly transition from a single cycle loader to a multi-shelf tower that can support multiple lasers. A symmetrical design allows modules to be placed on either the front or rear side of a laser's shuttle table to accommodate material flow.

The ability to quickly upgrade the AMS CL, now and in the future, was achieved by engineering modules that integrate together seamlessly in various configurations. As the system is expanded, existing modules stay in place or are reconfigured to meet specific layout requirements.

Some of the major modules that allow the AMS CL to easily increase its automation capabilities and flexibility include:

Master Module – The base module required for automating a single laser is a Master Module that is placed over the laser's shuttle table. This module performs sheet loading and unloading operations.

Slave Module – The Slave Module where raw material is loaded and finished sheets unloaded can be placed in the front or rear side of the Master Module. Its symmetrical design helps accommodate production flow.

Tower Module – The Tower Module features 10 shelves and is placed on top of the Slave Module. This tower can store various material types and also features a symmetrical design for placement flexibility.

Bandsaw with increased cutting output

The new Behringer HBE Dynamic Series bandsaws use a high torque, frequency controlled blade drive motor. The specialized gearing in the drive is engineered to produce the blade power and speed needed to achieve fast cutting and peak throughput rates. Because the drive is low horsepower and energy efficient, power consumption is reduced while energy savings and high production are realized. The new saw is designed to meet a broad range of applications in the steel trade, mechanical engineering, tool making and in high-end metalworking shops.
