Cor-Met says its new QWP Flux Coated TIG rod eliminates the need for purging or backing in a one step process.

The QWP Flux Coated TIG rod produces a slag on the inside of a pipe that will protect the weld from oxidation. It is now available in almost all grades of stainless, chrome-moly, and nickel base alloys. The 20” TIG rod is available in 3/32” and 1/8” diameters.
