Salvagnini P1 Panel BenderClick image to enlarge

The all-electric Salvagnini P1.ABA panel bender for 2018 is a smart, adaptive machine newly redesigned for flexible kit and single piece part production.

The P1 panel bender offers up to three times the throughput of a press brake and zero setup time. It offers the distinctive features of Salvagnini’s larger panel benders: automatic blankholder setup; universal tooling; brief cycle times; and programming software for 2D drawings and for 3D models that adds built-in skill and craftsmanship to the part forming process.
New features of the P1 include (but aren’t limited to):
• Asymmetric Auxiliary Bending capability for making interrupted bends of up to 25”
• Automatic Blankholder Adjustment (ABA) found on Salvagnini’s larger machines is now available on the 2018 P1.ABA
• A Last Bend Down capability comes standard on the 2018 model
• All electric operation
• MAC.20 technology that automatically detects and compensates for variations in material or material thickness to achieve perfect bends – first time, every time.
Setups take just four seconds, and individual bends only two seconds. And only 3kW of power is consumed during operation and the unit occupies 86 square feet of floor space.
Salvagnini will be showing the P1 panel bender with Automatic Blankholder Adjustment at FabTech Canada, Booth 205.

Bandsaw with increased cutting output

The new Behringer HBE Dynamic Series bandsaws use a high torque, frequency controlled blade drive motor. The specialized gearing in the drive is engineered to produce the blade power and speed needed to achieve fast cutting and peak throughput rates. Because the drive is low horsepower and energy efficient, power consumption is reduced while energy savings and high production are realized. The new saw is designed to meet a broad range of applications in the steel trade, mechanical engineering, tool making and in high-end metalworking shops.
