Airbus has selected Magellan Aerospace to produce exhaust systms for the aircraft builder's A320neo PW family of aircraft, and the parts will be designed, developed and manufactured at Magellan's Winnipeg, MB, facility and at the Middeltown, OH plant.

Mazak's iSmart Factory concept is now part of the company's Oguchi, Japan plant. The plant now joins Mazak’s iSmart Factory in Florence, KY, as the first two in the company’s plan to eventually designate all ten of its manufacturing operations as Mazak iSmart Factories.

The Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada want to strengthen Canada's manufacturing sector and are offering a non-repayable contribution of more than $740,000 to Quebec organization Economie du savoir Mauricie (ESM) for two projects to help guide manufacturing SMEs in upgrading their technological innovation and delivering investment and market development projects.
